social media

i have my reasons why i´m NOT at facebook or twitter. and if you pin my work on pinterest, please make sure to link it back to me by taking the button on my side: that will bring you to my board with all my art-links. thanks for respecting that.

i consider my blog to be my "artistic diary" - so i can recap what i made and which influences i got (exhibitions etc).

currently i try to publish frequently once in a week (tuesdays mostly)

People with a Google+ account: please leave a direct blog link, otherwise i can´t visit you.

GPP crusade no. 8 - cheap tricks/ another one

(well, a bit out of the season, but only found this scan for now to give you a sample... and i think you get the idea;)

another cheap trick i love is to make my own dymo labels - taking the cheap dymo-tool and running through cardstock i colored in myself.

this is not only a question of cheapness, but has the advantages that first, you can take the color which fits your project (so you are not limited to the standard colors you can buy) and second, you don´t have that shiny plastic touch, which sometimes doesn´t match (in my taste).

you only cut the cardbord in the width of the storebought rolls, color it in as you like and run it through. after that i thoroughly wipe with a black brilliance stamppad over the risen typing to make it better visible. that´s all!
if you want to see the whole x-mas book (with lots of michelles stamps, btw;), go here.
