i have my reasons why i´m NOT at facebook or twitter. and if you pin my work on pinterest, please make sure to link it back to me by taking the button on my side: that will bring you to my board with all my art-links. thanks for respecting that.

i consider my blog to be my "artistic diary" - so i can recap what i made and which influences i got (exhibitions etc).

currently i try to publish frequently once in a week (tuesdays mostly)

the 3 muses - "fowl" challenge

the three muses ask for a "fowl" today, and i chose to take the biggest of them, the ostrich...

background made with acrylics, the ostrich-transparency of a muybridge photo is sewed on, some stamping (alpha - teesha moore; labyrinth - stempelmine, germany; stars - tim holtz)

  2. Wow! This is spectacular. Birds don't come any bigger than the ostrich. The background is amazing - so colorful and eye-catching. I love the film strip of ostriches. Wonderful take on the theme.
