i consider my blog to be my "artistic diary" - so i can recap what i made and which influences i got (exhibitions etc).

currently i try to publish frequently once in a week (tuesdays mostly)

texture tuesday: orange

the first lanterns are turning orange in my garden...

  3. lovely done Johanna. Haven't seen lantern flowers since long, my oma always had these in a vase on the side board. Seeing your photo brings back memories, good ones :)

  4. I love these plants too..Think they are called Physallis...however you rarely see them growing..at least I don't! Lovely shot.

  10. I miss these so much! We had them in our garden in VT. I still have some dried ones that I bring out every autumn and handling very carefully. Love your photo, Johanna! Thanks for sharing!

  14. Hach wie toll! da kommen Erinnerungen hoch, meine Oma hatte einen großen Strauch mit den Lampionblumen im Garten, ich habe sie als Kind geliebt und tu es heute noch.

  20. I photographed green laterns earlier on, but these vibrant orange ones looks great. I love your texture work, the backgroun is wonderfully making the lantern sound out even more. A great job!
