social media

i have my reasons why i´m NOT at facebook or twitter. and if you pin my work on pinterest, please make sure to link it back to me by taking the button on my side: that will bring you to my board with all my art-links. thanks for respecting that.

i consider my blog to be my "artistic diary" - so i can recap what i made and which influences i got (exhibitions etc).

currently i try to publish frequently once in a week (tuesdays mostly)

People with a Google+ account: please leave a direct blog link, otherwise i can´t visit you.

black & white

the photo with the magpie claws has textures from kim (ugglove), a new one from nancy donaldson (billboard 2) and one from shadowhouse (film3)

on the other b&w photo i set the withered remains of heracleum at inverted... don´t they look like spiders?

  3. Fascinating work, Johanna! I love the abstract quality in both images, but I'm really drawn to the "spiders"... you can really get some wonderful results by inverting a photo.

  4. When I saw them in the group, I thought they looked like fireworks! I can see the spider thought too, like the green and white spider plants that are popular house plants!
