social media

i have my reasons why i´m NOT at facebook or twitter. and if you pin my work on pinterest, please make sure to link it back to me by taking the button on my side: that will bring you to my board with all my art-links. thanks for respecting that.

i consider my blog to be my "artistic diary" - so i can recap what i made and which influences i got (exhibitions etc).

currently i try to publish frequently once in a week (mondays/tuesdays mostly)

People with a Google+ account: please leave a direct blog link, otherwise i can´t visit you.

taxus baccata - eibe - european yew

(text excerpt from shakespeare´s macbeth - the 3 witches)

the yew (as an evergreen plant, like the mistletoe) belongs to many customs around christmas time. the green in winter symbolizes hope and new life, and the (poisonous) plant is used to banish demons.

  1. I love the symbolism of this piece! Beautiful! xo

  2. They all work wonderfully together. Would make lovely tags for special gifts in this holiday season.

  3. What a lovely card with wonderful symbolism.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Johanna!

  4. Liebe Johanna, ich wünsche dir ein wunderschönes Weihnachtsfest und eine guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr!

    LG Gaby
