social media

i have my reasons why i´m NOT at facebook or twitter. and if you pin my work on pinterest, please make sure to link it back to me by taking the button on my side: that will bring you to my board with all my art-links. thanks for respecting that.

i consider my blog to be my "artistic diary" - so i can recap what i made and which influences i got (exhibitions etc).

currently i try to publish frequently once in a week (mondays/tuesdays mostly)

People with a Google+ account: please leave a direct blog link, otherwise i can´t visit you.

take-a-word: leisure

[would literally translate: "letting dangle the soul"]
which is an idiom for "to leave all one´s cares behind"

actually i had the most beautiful leisure day last thursday as shown in my last post here.

  1. This is brilliant, it doesn't need anything more.
Your leisure day in the garden looks indeed absolutely perfect. Wonderful photos.

  2. Love that phrase...let dangle the soul. I will be using that one.
Love the cool simplicity of this!

  3. Lovely photos of your day out! And the idea of lazing in a hammock and letting my soul dangle is superb! xx

  4. I once went to a hypnotist to help me stop smoking, and he said "Close your eyes. Picture a hammock between two trees". This is what I should have pictured!!! He wasn't successful at the time, but I eventually DID stop smoking without his help. Love your hammock, Johanna!

  5. Haaaa, I knew It would be powerful and dreamy at the same time! Johanna! I love the colors and the striking effect of them! And this idea is fantastic!! :)

    LG anja

  7. This makes me feel relaxed just looking at it. Love all the lime green.

  8. Great take on leisure - looks relaxing.

  9. It would be quite wonderful to rest in a hammock. I just hope there weren't any bugs around!

  10. Lying in a hammock and relax, perfect, a wonderful leisure piece Johanna.

  12. Ja, so möchte man gerne die Seele baumeln lassen.

  13. Wow now that's leisure what a great idea a hammock in the shade...well done love your silhouettes.

  14. I visited your last post, Johanna, and have to agree that that's a brilliant way to spend you leisure. BUT THEN I SAW THIS POST and thought perhaps lounging in a hammock wins. Great work, my friend.

  15. ooo I want to dangle my soul in this place you have created Johanna...looks perfect in every nice seeing green again with Spring popping
    Happy Weekend
    Happy May!
