social media

i have my reasons why i´m NOT at facebook or twitter. and if you pin my work on pinterest, please make sure to link it back to me by taking the button on my side: that will bring you to my board with all my art-links. thanks for respecting that.

i consider my blog to be my "artistic diary" - so i can recap what i made and which influences i got (exhibitions etc).

currently i try to publish frequently once in a week (tuesdays mostly)

People with a Google+ account: please leave a direct blog link, otherwise i can´t visit you.

digital

i seldom worked digital recently and i´m afraid i will Forget all i learned...
so today i made contributions to current challenges to do a Little Training.

all of the photos are shot by me:

in the botanical garden, the magnolias blossoming - apt to one of my fave quotes of anais nin;
texture overlay from kim Klassen (one opening bud set free); font adler
{for the take-a-word challenge: plants and insects}

this caterpillar also is from the Butterfly Exhibition in the botanical garden (i hope i got the right Name...), Butterfly texture on the left from scrapbookgraphics, framing with texture from shadowhouse
{for take-a-word also, and for the Butterfly theme at moo mania & more}

and the last one i photographed on the isle of rømø (denmark) last october.
texture from shadowhouse.
and i love that Quote (font: daft brush) from the book "inkheart" (Cornelia funke)
{this one is for the current sea challenge at ajj... i´m working on another fabric Journal page, and i think it will come soon...}

    That's such an attractive photo at the end, the sun and the shadows and the lovely quote.

  7. I am ALWAYS in awe of digital art. Yours is stunning and each one is so different. It's nice to use your own photos, too. I can't believe the detail of the caterpillar.

    Your digital gift has not gone away, dear. You just laid it aside to make other art.
