i have my reasons why i´m NOT at facebook or twitter. and if you pin my work on pinterest, please make sure to link it back to me by taking the button on my side: that will bring you to my board with all my art-links. thanks for respecting that.

i consider my blog to be my "artistic diary" - so i can recap what i made and which influences i got (exhibitions etc).

currently i try to publish frequently once in a week (mondays/tuesdays mostly)

People with a Google+ account: please leave a direct blog link, otherwise i can´t visit you.

mid-may already??

well, it´s not that worse with my dependency on coffee...;)

regarding the weather i feel it still could be April...
gefühlt haben wir wettermäßig immer noch April...

lots of Drama in the sky... time to stock up my clouds collection
konnte meine wolkensammlung wieder mal kräftig aufstocken

i enlarged the woven Piece from the last two weeks a bit
and still have some shirt Cloth to add more...

this Piece was made some time ago, but never was uploaded to the blog.
yarn in variegated Colors. strips dyed last summer.
Stickgarn in verlauffarben... stoffstreifen letzten sommer gefärbt.

  1. Lovely photos you shared today the cloudy sky ones look fantastic. Your yarn weaving looks wonderful. The colour and embroidery on the second piece looks great as well.
    Have a happy T day.

  2. I always LOVE your fabric dyeing experiments and your slow sewing. These are beautiful, especially the ones with the different threads.

Timmy looks pretty happy to be outside and enjoying himself. I'm so impressed that he keeps his white paws so clean and his feet pads so pink.

That mug has my name written all over it. I agree that until I have my first cup of coffee, I'm not much of a human. Thankfully, I only have the boys who know better than to ask for kibble until after I've had my first cup each morning.

Thanks for sharing the dyed fabric, the way you put it together, and the other fabric you have pieced together this week. Thanks also for sharing your mug that speaks to me for T this Tuesday.

  9. Your mug made me smile, I know a couple of people who are like that in the mornings ... lol 😀. I love seeing you photos and I'm eagerly awaiting to see your May 12-month challenge photo too 😊. The clouds are wonderful, some of them look quite dramatic and Timmy looks so happy in the sunshine, doesn't he! Your woven fabric pieces are lovely and the blue one looks quite big now, I wonder what you are going to make with it. Wishing you a Happy T Day! J 😀

  14. Very fun mug. I like my coffee in the morning but I am surprisingly alert, it's my best time of the day. Love, love your evolving blue piece. They could all last forever couldn't they. A life's work. That would be something a big fat roll of stitched work. xox

  15. that coffee mug made me laugh out loud...I can totally relate! loving your blue and white stitching, which reminds me every time I see it that I want to put some patches on some blue jeans...so many possibilities, so little time! Beautiful stitching as always. happy T day!

  17. That cup is pretty cute. I drink hot chocolate like most people drink coffee. It's a relaxing ritual. I've always had dogs, but now that I have a cat I'm drawn not only to dog photos, but also cat photos. Yours looks like he's enjoying the sunny yard.

  18. I like the blue sky and clouds followed by your blue stitching. I assume that is Timmy sunning himself and relaxing as only cats can do.
    Have a great week, Johanna.

    Viele liebe Grüße
    Julia
