i have my reasons why i´m NOT at facebook or twitter. and if you pin my work on pinterest, please make sure to link it back to me by taking the button on my side: that will bring you to my board with all my art-links. thanks for respecting that.

i consider my blog to be my "artistic diary" - so i can recap what i made and which influences i got (exhibitions etc).

currently i try to publish frequently once in a week (mondays/tuesdays mostly)

woodstamps / holzstempel

cheers! - once a week i´m having lunch with ex-collegues,
and last week we decided to spoil ourselves at a wonderful Restaurant
a few kilometres from here, which is on a bit higher Level, but affordable.
we started with an Aperitif (homemade orange lemonade and Rosemary twigs)

(the cook freely Shares the making, so you could make that lemonade yourself...
 but i surely won´t... too laborious for my cooking ambitions;))

der koch erklärt einem gerne, wie die hausgemachte orangenlimo gemacht wird...
aber diesen aufwand kann ich mir verkneifen;)

my intro was a Vitamin salad with nectarine,
roasted mushrooms and seed/nuts

meine vorspeise war der "Vitamin salat" mit nektarine,
gebratenen Pilzen und gerösteten kernen/nüssen

the main dish was potato-gnocchi with Beef cheek Ragout with froth
(i should have taken the smaller plate,
because there was no room for Dessert in my stomach left:))

~~~~~~~~~~~
this week i got These wooden stamps i had ordered at ebay.
of course i instantly had to try them out on fabric scraps...
diese Woche kamen diese holzstempel, die ich bei ebay bestellt hatte.
musste sie natürlich sofort auf Stoffresten ausprobieren...
the snake was incorporated to a blue patch...
and you might remember the Piece on the left from last week,
a sunprint with a stencil.
die schlange wurde gleich eingearbeitet in eine blaue collage
(links auch ein stück des sonnenprints von letzter Woche)
These patches are just perfect drip mats:)
diese stoffflicken sind perfekte untersetzer für getränke:)
  1. What an amazing week you had. I loved your drink of choice. I kept thinking I have lemons, I have rosemary, now all I need are oranges to make this very cool/refreshing sounding drink. It sounds wonderful.
    I am in AWE of your stamps. I have a friend who bought some of those wood stamps. She uses acrylic paint with hers. The snake is nice, but I can't wait to see the bicycle. That one looks very promising to me.
    I simply adore how you turned those pieces into a mug mat. It looks lovely, especially with your slow stitching.
    Thanks for sharing your new stamps, your finished mug mat, your delicious sounding meal, and the very refreshing sounding Aperitif with us for T this Tuesday.
  5. Um diese Uhrzeit habe ich ja noch nicht gefrühstückt, so wirken deine köstlichen Fotos umgehend als Appetitanreger!
    Wo hast du nur diese schönen Holzstempel entdeckt, sogar eine Schlange ist dabei, aber das Fahrrad ist auch toll!
    Und der blaue Untersetzer in dieser kreativen Zusammenstellung ist der Hit, wunderschön!
    Ich mach jetzt auch blau, denn endlich scheint heute die langersehnte Sonne!
    Liebe Grüße Ulrike
  10. That drink does sound refreshing ♥ Love your wooden stamps and what you did with the snake one is great. I need to make some of those as the heat and humidity here is causing our drink glasses to sweat and drip all over the place.
