social media

i have my reasons why i´m NOT at facebook or twitter. and if you pin my work on pinterest, please make sure to link it back to me by taking the button on my side: that will bring you to my board with all my art-links. thanks for respecting that.

i consider my blog to be my "artistic diary" - so i can recap what i made and which influences i got (exhibitions etc).

currently i try to publish frequently once in a week (mondays/tuesdays mostly)

People with a Google+ account: please leave a direct blog link, otherwise i can´t visit you.

2nd look... autumn is coming

"i gfrei mi wenns rengt, wei wenn i mi ned gfrei, rengts aa."
thursday persistant rain sat in
and i try to think along with karl Valentin:
"I´m happy when it rains, because if i´m not happy it rains anyway..."

es herbstelt schon deutlich:
die Tollkirschen sind reif...
there clearly are many signs of autumn:
the deadly nightshades are ripe...

the wasps are all around...

queen anne´s lace seems to be a bundle of suns

"bad hair day"...

bei den "Rapunzel Schwestern"
... at the "Rapunzel sisters"

ein herbst-Vorteil ist auf alle fälle:
man findet massenweise fotomotive...
für elizabeths 2nd on the 2nd - challenge

well, one Advantage of autumn is you can find lots of photo motifs...
here are two digital seed postcards from
for elizabeth´s "second on the second"

and good i thought of the monthly challenge on tuesday,
right in time before the rain came

  2. I was super impressed with your autumn inspired garden photos. The Rapunzel sisters look like corn to me. But I've never seen any pink like that or "hairs" that long. Beautiful. And I think the difference between June and July is far more evident than July and August in your monthly photos.

I really enjoyed your seed and weed postcards you created for Three Muses back in 2014. I also liked the .png images you created for yourself that you were able to use over time.

Since I didn't know you back then, thanks for sharing your lovely autumn photos and your seed and weed postcards with us as your second look on the 2nd.

  3. I loved seeing your postcards and art and really enjoyed all of your garden photos-some of those plants I have not seen before.
Happy second on the 2nd Kathy

  5. Your postcards are beautiful, and definitely worth seeing again. I love those autumnal colours, although I shall be sad to see summer go.
Thanks for sharing your photos - I particularly like the Queen's Anne Lace.
It is interesting that there seems to be only a small difference between your July and August photos, and more between June and July.

  6. I like the Karl Valentin quote, Johanna. Very wise. I laughed out loud at the Rapunzel sisters :D

  7. It is very hot here, but there are still some small subtle signs of autumn in the air. Once the September heat leaves, you can almost feel the end of summer overnight.

  8. Gorgeous photos. Summer is winding down here way too fast. I love fall but I can wait for it to get here. Happy weekend. Hugs-Erika

  10. Autumn colours are so beautiful so this second look is very welcome as we head in that direction! After what my Dad used to call 'the June drop' your view doesn't seem to have changed much - I think it will be different next time!Chrisx
